Alvie House is an Edwardian style shooting lodge at the heart of the 13,000 acre Alvie and Dalraddy estates. It is home to the Williamson family, who have lived here for five generations.
The house has always been a family home and its warm and welcoming atmosphere recalls years of happy family gatherings, parties and celebrations.
The house faces south and enjoys glorious views across a small loch and native pine woodland to the majestic Cairngorm mountains beyond. Its rooms are light and spacious, traditionally decorated with period furniture and family portraits. The reception rooms include a drawing room, library, dining room and billiard room with a full-sized billiard table.

We can cater for any event you’d like to hold at Alvie House. Wherever possible we use produce from the estate or the local area including beef, venison and lamb.
Accommodation
Why not make the most of your wedding celebrations or special event and stay in Alvie House for the night – or even a few nights. All the bedrooms are available and can sleep up to 17, in two double, five twin and three single bedrooms. The double bedrooms and one of the twin rooms also have en-suite bathrooms.
Combine the bedrooms in the house with Top Flat, which sleeps ten and up to 27 people can stay here.
