Glorious views of the Scottish Highlands
Top Flat is on the top floor and has some of the best views in Alvie House. It’s south facing and looks out over Loch Bourne towards the Cairngorms and Glenfeshie.
The apartment has plenty of space and is well equipped, comfortable and warm. We’ll provide bed linen and also tea towels for the kitchen. All we ask is that you bring your own towels (or if you’re travelling light you can hire some from us for only £5 per person).
The Wifi signal in Top Flat is via Alvie House, and as such can be a bit slow at times.

Two bathrooms with traditional roll top baths and a third separate toilet
Dining:
Fully-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Large separate dining room
Relaxing:
Large sitting room with plenty of comfy sofas and chairs, open fire, television, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker
Outside:
Access to some of the grounds of Alvie House and on occasion, to fishing on Loch Bourne. Plenty of walks to enjoy the fresh mountain air!
Dogs:
You’re welcome to bring one or two well-behaved dogs. Fees are £10 per dog, however long you stay
Good to know:
We provide a supply of kindling, logs and matches so, if you want to, you can enjoy a roaring fire as soon as you arrive. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the basement of Alvie House.
We have been staying at Alvie for over 30 years, It is excellent value for money and meets our needs exactly.
