Charming cottages in a beautiful location

Easter Delfour Farmhouse is a picturesque Victorian farm cottage.  It has views over the fields and woodlands of Alvie to the glorious Cairngorm Mountains beyond.  It’s great for keen walkers as you can walk straight out on to the Monadhliath hills from behind the cottage or the popular Alvie Stables is just next door for those who love horses and ponies.

The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and warm.  We’ll provide bed linen and also tea towels for the kitchen.  All we ask is that you bring your own towels (or if you’re travelling light you can hire some from us for only £5 per person).

Sleeps:
One double and one twin room. Bed linen included.

Bathing:
Bathroom with bath and overhead shower including a heated towel rail.

Dining:
Fully-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Separate dining room with electric stove.

Relaxing:
Sitting room with comfy sofas and arm chair, television, DVD player

Outside:
Enclosed wrap around garden with picnic bench. Stunning views across the Cairngorms. Fresh mountain air!

You’re welcome to bring one or two well-behaved dogs. Fees are £25 per dog, however long you stay.

Good to know:
Alvie Stables is just next door for those with a passion for horseriding.

Wonderful long Weekend stay 4.7 OUT OF 5

We had a wonderful long weekend at Easter Delfour cottage. We loved the location and views from the cottage. We did the night time zip wire on the estate and had a great takeaway Saturday night from Alvie Forest Food. We would recommend a meal The Bridge Inn and coffee and cake from The old post office in Kincraig. We went tubing on cairngorm mountain and had long walks around Loch Morlich and Loch an Eileen. The cottage was cosy and warm and has everything we needed for a long weekend with children and a dog. We will definitely return, over other places we have stayed in Aviemore due to the location and relaxed feel of the cottage
